“Cement”
For the pleasure of others
Hard and stuck.
Temporarily immortal
Centered in nothingness
Made with purpose but serves no meaning
You cannot see my gaze with those eyes of stone
Organic life surrounds you,
Impermeable to the sweet aroma of flowers, hot striking rays of the sun
The cruelty of life does not allow you to partake
Muscles carved that you cannot use to feel the warmth of skin
Even loneliness is too much of an emotion for you to grasp
Or is it?
